Black Women are the mothers of Humanity. It is through the Black Woman’s Womb that all human life came to be. It’s interesting that we live in society with beauty standards that do not promote Black Women’s authentic beauty. Because of this a lot of Black Women don’t see the beauty in their natural self. I think in the recent years it has been progressing, the reason for that is some Black Women decided to go against what was accepted by the masses. Since the creation of social networks it has allowed us to control and promote our own images this has enabled us to see an abundance of beautiful Black Women who express their beauty authentically. The whole purpose of knowledge of self is for you to see who you are and why you came to be. We must recognize the beauty in ourselves and love ourselves unconditionally. The world will learn to accept who you are naturally once you learn to respect who you are naturally. Learn to be in tune with your nature.“How Can I Come From A Man’s Rib When He Came From My Womb?” Early African civilizations understood the importance of the Woman as the creator of life. This is why many African civilizations developed Matrilineal societies. The Woman was the central figure of the society. That does not mean she dominated over the Men. It means the Men learned to respect , recognize, and appreciate the importance of the Black Women. These societies operated similar to a bee hive. The Queen BEE was the most important figure. The Male BEES would DIE to protect her and the Hive. It’s understandable why one would refer to the Black Woman as GOD. To my lost Black Men, learn to love, appreciate, and respect the Black Woman. I am not one of those hypocritical “Pseudo-Black Power” dudes throwing out compliments in disguise. I’m simply pointing out things that I feel we should recognize. Black Woman you have an outstanding legacy YOU should be the beauty standard. Written By @Solar_InnerG

Biotin update-

For those of you who follow my biotin journey here is another update! This is my hair growth over the course of 2 days. I have been taking biotin for over 3months now and started at 1,000mcg each day then slowly worked my way up to the 10,000-15,000mcg I take now each day. (some days I take 10,000 the other days 15,000). I have 100% natural and a 4c hair type. I straighten my hair about once a year but I will be increasing it to 3 times so I can keep my ends trimmed and sexy more often. After my winter protective style of senegelese twists I cut off about 4 inches/added layers just this past weekend.

This picture is suppose to be for inspiration for all those kinky hair thick and natural hair women that yes your hair can be very healthy and grow fast. Like I said this is my hair growth only over two days. My hair has always grown fast but biotin definitely has helped increase my length retention. I cut my hair very often because it grows so fast but I’m working towards growing it to waist length to donate. (Hopefully I don’t cut too much along the journey)

Biotin update- My hair retained its length beautifully while taking biotin pills for the past three months. I ended up cutting about three inches due to needing a trim, wanting a slight cut and adding layers to it! I have 100% natural 4c hair and often wear my hair in protective styles and weaves. I am going to change my hair regimen and straighten my hair 3 times a year (instead of 0-1) so I can trim and avoid split ends; yes keeping my healthy hair even healthier! I take about 13,000mcg a day (10,000mcg of biotin and hair, skin and nail vitamins which have 3,000mcg in it). No acne mainly because I drink alot of water and yes my nails are stronger now.

I will keep you all updated with my biotin journey and feel free to inbox me with any questions!

Societal expectations of sex don’t make any sense

salmiakkivodka:

If dudes are expected to have a lot of sex

But ladies are expected to stay virgins until marriage

But homosexuality is bad

I’m really confused who dudes are supposed to be having all that sex with
